I interviewed four different people of all different ages, occupations and bubbles. Three lived in NZ and 1 lived in Australia. Australia has slightly different rules than New Zealand like how one of Australia's rules is that you are only allowed 2 visitors at a time whereas in New Zealand you are not allowed any visitors. Everyone's jobs were affected by covid 19 except my great Nana who is retired.
While some could work others were limited to what they could do.
Everyone missed their family and friends but what I found out is that everyone had their positives and negatives so that means that sometimes being In lockdown can be a good thing but sometimes it can be a bad thing. I enjoyed interviewing my great Nana because she told me all about the polio epidemic and what sort of beds the people who were infected had to lay in. She remembered being 7 in lock down when the polio was going round.

Learning outcome: To record the experiences of West Coast children from the past 100 years in order to create a History of West Coast people during times of difficulty and challenge - this will be turned into a book to be kept in local museums and at Shantytown.

Twenty Twenty Covid-19

Twenty twenty. Life is busy. People are busy. I am busy. I go from school to sport to home to homework to bed.
We have forgotten how to slow down, we have forgotten how to look after ourselves. Take away meals, no time to exercise. No time to play games as a family.
A virus from eating bats in China, or was it made in a lab?  Whatever it is, it has slowed down the whole word.
Today life is not busy, people are not busy, I am not busy. My family and I stay home and we learn, we laugh, we play, we bake and we exercise.
We break the chain of Covid-19

We are learning to:
Develop ideas by developing and revisiting visual ideas, in response to examples we have seen, and ideas that we can think of for ourselves.
