	What kind of journey has taken place?   Explain.	What was the purpose of this journey?	What challenges did the character face?
Kensuke’s Kingdom	A voyage because it's a long journey out at sea.	They wanted a new experience, it would be fun and they had no jobs.	Sea sick , tiring, eating beans, he is not allowed any fires to send for help.
Iris and Dogstar	A voyage because it’s on sea	To go to Noumea the capital of New Caledonia	Hard to sleep,seasick and the adults are grumpy.
Tautai	He is going on a trip to Samoa and emotional journey.	To see his grandmother for her sixieth  birthday.	He got  teased about his name. It was his first time on a plane. His name was hard to pronounce.
Hine-o-te-rangi	Jean Batten went on an expedition to New Zealand because she wanted to be the first girl to fly somewhere by herself.	To be the first girl to fly a long way by herself .	She had to learn how to fly and one day she had to make an emergency landing because she ran out of oil!
